There is actually a very good book covering the Hilberling case & several interviews & specials such as dr Phil & “women locked up” or something alone those lines where a lot of your questions can be answered. Tons of detail & photos/ video. They both actually had protective orders against each other, Amber did have bruises & scratches on her shoulders from that day taken by Tulsa police. Also there’s no proof Amber ever tested positive for drugs while pregnant & Amber had kicked Josh out of their apartment (technically ambers parents apartment) bc of the drug use & selling on his part. Rhonda also does have paperwork she holds up in at least 2 interviews that is apparently joshes discharge papers from the army. Not sure if she’s legally allowed to release them to public tho. Ambers parents do have custody of Amber & Josh’s son, they post & share a lot on fb & even post to acknowledge Josh’s birthday & death anniversary just as much as Amber. There doesn’t seem to be any hostility towards josh himself, they don’t believe he was a bad person just that he & Amber were immature & probably shouldn’t have been together given their constant fighting & they have lawsuits against the apartment building owners given the beyond unsafe thin windows that were “as thin as picture frame glass” according to experts. Anyway sorry to ramble & loving the podcasts so far !

Your extensive efforts in hiding your white shame, really makes you the white girls that make everyone else roll their eyes. why is it so crucial to treat “them” (as you’ve referred to your “Mexican” friends) as a group and not as individuals. “they like when…” how do you listen and edit yourself without being horrified by your ignorance??
